These small islands have maintained, to some degree, their pristine natural environment due to their isolation. However, it is this same isolation that makes the islands inaccessible to development opportunities and vulnerable to socio-economic inequities.
ASF aims to improve the quality of life in small island communities while managing the islands’ natural environmental integrity.
