ASF Annual Health Caravan 2019

Back

The Andres Soriano Foundation successfully conducted its 13th Annual Health Caravan on May 29-31 in the island barangays of Manamoc, Algeciras, and Concepcion in the municipalities of Cuyo and Agutaya, providing medical, surgical, dental, and laboratory services to 3,257 patients.

Beneficiary communities received a wide-range of medical and dental services including adult and pediatric consultation, prenatal care, eye check and operation, minor surgery, general ultrasound, electrocardiogram test, pap smear test, and blood chemistry test as well as dental cleaning, extraction, and restoration. Reading glasses, prescription eye glasses, over-the-counter medicines, prescription medication, and other health products were provided to those in need. Interactive sessions were also conducted to prevent contraction and spread of diseases and promote better hygiene and sanitation.

Sincere thanks to the volunteer-doctors who generously shared their time and expertise, and ensured that each patient was provided with quality health care and treatment.
