On October 4, the Barangay Council of Diit and The Andres Soriano Foundation jointly conducted a coastal cleanup activity along the shores of Barangay Diit in Agutaya, Palawan, with active participation from the beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). Aside from reducing coastal trash and debris, this helped raise awareness on the importance of ocean conservation and will hopefully inspire people to change behaviors and practices that cause pollution.
This activity is a key component of the Foundation’s environment program which promotes the effective management of terrestrial and marine resources to safeguard the island’s inherent integrity and the well-being of its people.
