Tech-Voc Scholars at Dualtech

Back

Five months into their technical vocational course, our scholars are acquiring and mastering the necessary skills in electrical, electronics, and mechanical trades. The photos show four of the scholars, together with their classmates, in their practicum class, advanced training, and assessment session.

These senior high school graduates from the Quiniluban Group of Islands in Palawan were awarded a technical-vocational scholarship by Dualtech Training Center and The Andres Soriano Foundation to pursue a course in Electromechanics Technology. Once they complete the six-month in-school training, they will proceed to an 18-month on-the-job training and apply their skills in basic machine operations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Facilitating access to scholarship opportunities is part of the Foundation’s ongoing education program which supports quality and inclusive education to help young people realize their full potential and become productive and responsible members of society.
