Following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Central Luzon and Cordillera and the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in 1990 and 1991 respectively, ASF became active in disaster relief and rehabilitation. From then on, ASF has established a program to help disaster-stricken communities through the provision of relief supplies and restoration of basic services.
